About Nigel
Nigel has a wide-ranging experience of pensions, investments and taxation issues, and provides advice on these matters to individuals, companies and partnerships.
Having worked extensively in the financial sector, he has found his niche within the company, where he excels at providing bespoke financial solutions to suit the circumstances of his clients and their attitudes towards risk.
Nigel began his financial planning career in the 1990s with Britannic, having previously run his own business, before studying History and Economics at the University of Warwick as a mature student.
Many years of experience with companies of all sizes have given him a strong preference for those which operate on a smaller scale. Nigel believes them to be more efficient and less bureaucratic, and favours the opportunities they bring to provide a higher level of personal service and build up long term client relationships.
Nigel was afforded such opportunities when he joined Philip T. English I.F.S. Limited in 2006. Here, he has concentrated on providing advice for retirement planning, investments, inheritance, taxation, business partnerships and succession.
In his spare time, Nigel enjoys fly fishing on the Rivers Usk and the Wye, walking in the Breacon Beacons and Cotswolds, and spending time with his wife and three children.
